I had a bunch of characters back in high school. The first one was supposed to be some kind of "dreamwalker"with ambiguous morals that would appear in people's dreams and tell them to do certain tasks in their waking life. The tasks ranged from something as simple as "wear the green dress" to something more complex and disturbing like "murder your brother". If they didn't do the task within a certain timeframe, then there would be some sort of consequence. I never quite figured out what the motives of the dreamwalker were or what the consequences would be though.

The group of people were a loose sort of cast of characters that occupied the same world and had their own little backstories, but I never came up with a cohesive story for all of them. They were also originally all various anthros, so this is actually the first time I've ever drawn them as people. I don't know what was up with some of those hairstyles, they looked a lot less weird when they had big cat ears.
