Update on mr. green

  1. I'm really loving the stone/mossy areas of his body - like the head, torso and calves. I donno about his arm pieces though. The details there seem to be more random than thought out. The paneling's cool, but your eye is immediately drawn to the red bits - and my mind, at least, wonders what exactly they do, and how the whole thing works.

  2. Thanks for the feedback Irshad! I'll probably tone down the reds a little bit, and work on the arms a little bit more. His arms.. i'll get into that one later haha. What do you think about the eyes? does the green work?

    1. Hm, I didn't even notice the eyes - that in itself, means the eyes don't not work. That said, the colour doesn't really seem to mesh with the rest of the colour scheme you've got. It's shifting too much into the blue. They're okay, but you could probably choose a better colour.

  3. Heya Erik, it's looking good dude! What's the story behind him? What's his purpose? What is he meant to do? He looks like a earth element but with futuristic weaponry on his hands, so it's a breed between fantasy and sci fi?

I would place more mechanical object in different part of his body as well and not just his hands/arms unles there's a story reasoning behind it.

I really like the moss skin as Irshad pointed out, and I think you should have it growing/starting to grow over his arms to kinda fuse the two together! Or vise versa! Have the red wiring or part be fusing with his organic body!!

The red is a little to contrast(y) my eye does to directly towards that just because it is red and everything else is almost midtones

And yeah, irshad brings up a good point about his arm weapons. Eden though they're suppose to be super baddass!! They still need to have a sense of function behind them. Do pistons inside the arm tech give him extra power? Is there something else inside that give so and so this and that? It's little things like that can help a concept out and in this era of concept, people love believability.

For the eyes, you can possibly go with orange, since his overall body is mainly in cooler tones, it'll really push out the eyes if that's something that you really want to stand out!

One thing I really enjoy is the little branch sticking out of the top of his head, I think you should have little things like that around his party, placed unevenlly to give it a nice overall shape/silhouette

If you need me to explain it more in depth or anything, feel free to ask! Sorry kinda just dumped everything... Typing on a phone blows!! Hoped this helped :P

    Cheers!
